An Epic evening adventure showing in Gardiner. Family Movie Night, a joint venture between Southern Ulster Rotary Club, Gardiner Day Committee and Gardiner Parks and Recreation, shows Puss in Boots, the Last Wish.
Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for adventure has taken its toll when he learns that he has burnt through eight of his nine lives. Puss sets out on an epic journey to find the mythical Last Wish and restore his nine lives.
Postponed to the rain date, Michele led Southern Ulster Rotary’s effort in her first club event. The movie night saw 89 guests and raised $200 towards local food pantries. A giant inflatable screen set in the park against a backdrop of skydivers from the Ranch set the stage as dusk was about to fall and the movie to start. Glow sticks, snacks and popcorn provided by sponsors were a great way to round out summer for community members, friends and families of all ages. Thank you Michele for a smooth, well-coordinated event.
