Southern Ulster Rotary Club gathered in a heartfelt tribute to a beloved figure, Ken Rumsey, past president, founding member, and district governor. Led by Will, the memorial event drew a lovely turnout of over 30 of Ken's fellow Rotarians, both past and present, as well as cherished family and friends. The atmosphere was filled with warmth as attendees shared their heartfelt stories, reflecting on the profound impact Ken had on our Rotary family and the community at large. Cathy and Ken's family expressed their deep gratitude to our club for the beautiful bench and the touching dedication ceremony. We owe special thanks to Robert Earl for his instrumental role in securing the bench and finding the perfect spot for its placement. We also appreciate the thoughtful refreshments provided by Amy D'Anci, with her mother and son joining in to support the event, adding a comforting touch to the gathering. In remembering Ken Rumsey, we are reminded of the enduring spirit of Rotary and the lasting impact of his legacy.
